This amounts to the meaningful sharing of learning objectives and targets and therefore are actual targets that students are adequate to externalize and direct their efforts toward (Moss and Brookhart, 2012 9). I observed that the Saint Vincent year three teacher used a combination of words, pictures and actions to describe the learning objective and target. This communication had the effect of gaining the classrooms attention and provided a fiber point for the children to traverse through the days lesson.
